[Bug 1094066] Re: Keyboard blocked after having used volume keys

2013-06-14 Thread Felagund
Confirm on 13.04 and NP350E5C-S0A:
Result of pressing volume keys is unpredicatble and usually blocks keyboard.
Not completely: Ctrl-Alt-F1 switches to tty, and after switching back keyboard
works again; Ctrl-Alt-T launches terminal, and other shortcuts may work as well.

After going to tty and back volume keys produce no visible effect.
Showkey(1): pressed fn-f[678] aka mute, volume down, volume up
keycode 113 press
keycode 114 press
keycode 115 press

[Bug 1094066] Re: Keyboard blocked after having used volume keys

2012-12-27 Thread Ubuntu Foundations Team Bug Bot
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a
specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu
in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source
packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs
about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your
bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage.
You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1094066/+editstatus and add the
package name in the text box next to the word Package.

[This is an automated message. I apologize if it reached you
inappropriately; please just reply to this message indicating so.]

Perhaps a kernel issue; that's my first guess, anyway, at a package
assignment. Thanks.
