All,
Unfortunately, VirtualBox 4.2 is *not* in the Official Ubuntu Archives.
Hence, doing an SRU for TestDrive to support VBox 4.2 does not make any
sense given that we do not support it
For this reason I'm marking this bug as 'wontfix' for such releases.
Note that TestDrive from PPA does

To manage
I'm somewhat puzzled, the SRU team hinted that they would allow the
simple patch through for this release as it is clearly visible of the
patch and has about a zero regression risk. We are now pointing to
13.04, why am I hearing that the patch for 12.10 is being blocked, as it
has to be in 13.04?
Huh if that's the case I will prepare the request.

thanks, bkerensa, much appreciated from the quality / testing team. I am
trying to get all the ducks in a row as part of 12.10 testing so we have
them all assembled for 13.04 going onto 13.10. Getting testdrive happy
with VBox 4.2 and it knowing all the official flavours will be a
great help to
If at all possible can you fix this bug by the 8th of february? we need
it working for some ubuntu-classroom sessions.
