Another question: is workspace switcher icon shown in dash? I think this
feature (automatically enabling/disabling workspaces) would work better
if it was symmetrical (remove the icon from launcher and workspaces are
disabled; add it to launcher and workspaces are enabled again).
Yes, that's the plan, we are just missing the unity application lens
bits, patches welcome :-)

Ah, of course also setting the vertical/horizontal sizes in CCSM general
options to what you prefer, will do the same of gnome control center ;)

for now from the Appearance panel in gnome control center (you need the unity
version).
In case you removed it from favorites as well (i.e. cfr gsettings get
com.canonical.Unity.Launcher favorites), you need to make sure that that list
contains also the 'unity://expo-icon' URI.
