[Bug 1159835] Re: Index entry for Table of Contents (TOC) level 10 backs to level 1

2013-06-01 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
Fikrul Arif, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu
better. This is reproducible in Xubuntu Raring. However, if you choose 9
instead of 10, it preserves the number instead of changing it to 1. If
you attempt to put a number = 11 it will auto reset to 10 in the
combobox.

As well, in Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 Word Version 14.0.6023.1000
(32-bit) if one highlights a word - clicks References - Table of Contents -
Insert Table of Contents... - combo box Show levels: type 10 and a window pops
up noting:
Microsoft Word
The number must be between 1 and 9.

Speculatively, it appears LibreOffice would have wanted to change the
logic so that instead of a number = 11, it would be = 10?!

Despite this, the issue you are reporting is an upstream one. It would
be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers of
the software by following the instructions verbatim at
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport . If you have done so,
please tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so we can
add a bugwatch that will inform us about the status. Thanks in advance.
