[Bug 116900] Re: Firefox's layout.css.dpi (about:config) does nothing
Fix was released in Gutsy, we are unable to backport this to Feisty as it is not a security issue. ** Changed in: firefox (Ubuntu) Status: Unconfirmed = Fix Released -- Firefox's layout.css.dpi (about:config) does nothing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/116900 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 116900] Re: Firefox's layout.css.dpi (about:config) does nothing
Found the problem! Compiling Firefox with support for pango (--enable-pango) fixes the problem. Apparently, pango support is only enabled for some localized versions of Firefox in Ubuntu. I know this is a cheap workaround but it solves the problem. Without pango support, the DPI setting has no effect. -- Firefox's layout.css.dpi (about:config) does nothing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/116900 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Without pango support, the DPI setting has no effect. For gutsy we currently have pango enabled for all locales. If we don't receive any bad feedback, we hopefully can keep it on by default. - Alexander -- Firefox's layout.css.dpi (about:config) does nothing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/116900 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
