The bug was fixed but 0.0.4ubuntu1 did not carry it. Please switch to
the PPA version to recieve all fixes as soon as they are published.

I am unable to reporoduce this bug with saucy, and 0.0.4ubuntu1. And
yes, as barneedhar said, I remember fixing this bug a while ago.
Can you reproduce the bug? It would be helpful if you can share the
stacktrace. Run unity-tweak-tool from a terminal, tru changing colors,
and when it crashes,
