I had this happen after waking my computer, unplugging the ethernet
cable (no WiFi was turned on) and unplugging the power cable. Not sure
what specifically caused it this time but I've noticed it happens a lot.

The clock and date indicator on the top panel disappears. only be
restored with the command: dconf reset-f / org / compiz / and unity -
reset-icons. whenever you restart the notebook.

This app seems to crash regularly. After the app restarts, it displays
fine and tells time like it should. It does not appear to crash while
system is up, only on start up and reboot.
