I can confirm running Feisty and Network Printer. A single 21 page
document printed cups crashed and piled errors into error log . . . .
subsequent print jobs were queued but not printed until user rebooted.
From error_log:

I can confirm that I am also having this problem on a fully up to date
feisty workstation at home.
I've just had to stop cupsys, clear /var/spool/cups and start cupsys
about four times in the last ten minutes - and now it's dead again.

Can you have a look at the error_log on the computer running the cups daemon ?
Cups log files are located in /var/log/cups/. The error log is named error_log.

When I want to print several files in a queue, cupsd will hang after a few
jobs and not complete the rest. (I add the jobs at a rather quick pace, say,
about 5 to 10 in one minute). My printer is an old Epson Stylus Color
