Looked into it a bit. Newer kwin on raring is actually OK. It is not OK when using recent builds of mesa from ppas, where there is no wayland. Now, the question is... why libwayland-egl is linked directly into kwin (i.e. shown by ldd on kwin)? Wouldn't it be better to have it as something that
