In my case the log output is slightly different, I assume because my
only paired device is a mouse, rather than an MTP player in Anmar's
case:

Another interesting note - while turning bluetooth back on through the
settings window fails for me in the way Anmar described, turning it on
with my laptop's airplane-mode button works, so below a certain layer
the bluetooth stack is working here.
