[Bug 123849] Re: Please sync ubuntustudio-screensaver from the Ubuntu Studio repository (main)

2007-07-11 Thread Emmet Hikory
For a no-change upload, a sync is best (see
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SyncRequestProcess regarding uploads vs. sync
requests). On the other hand, now that the package has been rejected by
an archive admin, and a determination made that a no-change upload is
not correct (see previous comment for sample requested changes),
processing the changed upload through REVU is the correct solution.
Please retitle and redescribe this bug to point towards REVU, and upload
a new revision of ubuntu-studio-screensaver including the requested
changes. It may be useful to add a comment in REVU indicating this bug
as a reference.

[Bug 123849] Re: Please sync ubuntustudio-screensaver from the Ubuntu Studio repository (main)

2007-07-11 Thread Toby Smithe
Please see http://revu.tauware.de/details.py?upid=5971 for an upload
with the changes made. In my local source tree, I wasn't able to find a
capitalisation error, but I pulled from bzr, and it may have been fixed
there.

** Changed in: Ubuntu
   Status: Triaged = Invalid

** Changed in: Ubuntu
 Assignee: (unassigned) = Toby Smithe

** Description changed:

+ As changes have been made for this package, please see

+
+
+
Please sync ubuntustudio-screensaver 0.1 from the Ubuntu Studio
repository located at http://archive.ubuntustudio.org feisty/main. We
are intending this to become, like all Ubuntu and Ubuntu Studio artwork,
a native package in the Ubuntu universe repository, such that we no
longer need maintain a delta with Ubuntu, and a separate repository.

[Bug 123849] Re: Please sync ubuntustudio-screensaver from the Ubuntu Studio repository (main)

2007-07-10 Thread Jonathan Riddell
Why not put this on REVU and have it go through the normal process?

There is a capitalisation typo in the description and the ubuntustudio-
floater.desktop has an invalid categories line (needs to end with a
semi-colon).

[Bug 123849] Re: Please sync ubuntustudio-screensaver from the Ubuntu Studio repository (main)

2007-07-10 Thread Toby Smithe
I was advised, for a no-change upload (as it would have been), that a
sync was more appropriate. I am now unsure what to do: it has been ACKed
and the archive team subscribed, but should I go through REVU?
