Verified on these two laptops, they both equipped with:
Broadcom Corporation BCM4313 802.11bgn Wireless Network Adapter [14e4:4727] 
(rev 01)

Steps:
1. Install Ubuntu 12.04.3 with proposed kernel
2. Boot to desktop
3. Install the Broadcom STA wireless driver via jockey-gtk

I was unable to install the proprietary driver via jockey-gtk on the 3.8.0-33 
proposed kernel.
Kernel message will be dump to screen, you have to switch to console and switch 
back to regain usability.

After switch back to X, jockey-gtk still showing "Downloading and
installing driver"
