I am running Ubuntu 13.10 64 bit and everything works well with one
exception: The mute key on my laptop stays amber regardless of the audio
settings. Audio works regardless of the LED and the sound indicator
shows the correct setting of the audio output, but the LED stays amber.

I have noticed that launching sound settings from the indicator does
cause the light to reflect correctly, but as soon as this is closed the
LED reverts back to amber. I can also confirm that this issue does not
exist in the Ubuntu Gnome community edition or Fedora with Gnome. I only
have this problem in Unity.
