I run Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. $uname -a Linux host 3.8.0-33-generic #48~precise1-Ubuntu SMP Thu Oct 24 16:28:06 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Bind9 run as service can not provide version i provide version of commands which exist inside of service. $uname --version uname (GNU coreutils) 8.13 Copyright (C) 2011 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
