gnome-system-monitor does not display hd reads to
The bug still exists in Maverick. However, I was able to rebuild the
libgtop2 with the above mentioned Bugzilla patch, which applies cleanly
and fixes the bug for my software RAID.
For convenience, I have attached the patch here.

Nobody said that the ticket can not be used but reality is that ubuntu

I can confirm this bug still exists on Ubuntu Jaunty, 9.04. Here are
some filtered results from mount:
~$: mount
/dev/sdc6 on /home type ext3 (rw,relatime,errors=remount-ro,acl)
/dev/mapper/isw_dihagdeiig_RAID03 on / type ext3 (rw,relatime,errors=remount-ro)
