[Bug 1281009] [NEW] add out of the box file sharing support (samba) for Ubuntu with GUI
You have been subscribed to a public bug: File sharing between Ubuntu and Windows PCs is a bit of a struggle. One cannot get it up and running without searching online for a solution. Also there is always a bit of commandline involved in the process. It would be better, if the required GUI and the dependencies are installed by default for Ubuntu .
