Hi,

Looks like changes in file(1) broke our test suite.  There is a
partial fix for it in 87e5ebd, but some of the regex's in
data/cruft/warn-file-type probably also need updating.

Besides that, we got some tests failing on "funny filenames" (e.g.
ones with backslash) and finally S-V 3.9.3 has become ancient...
