I had a fully updated Feisty installation to begin with. Because
update-manager -d didnt work either with or without sudo, I added
gutsy to the meta-file, explained in Bug #129392. Then i just used
update-manager -d, and upgraded to 7.10. In this process the
installation of cupsys 1.2.8-0ubuntu8
This bug is now obsolete. Just redid my steps, and the upgrade process
now automatically uses cupsys 1.2.12-3ubuntu2 in the first place, which
doesn't fail at installing. Marking as Fix Released.
