So it seems that the shortcut keys are saved based on the position of
the key instead of the actual character and the position is picked from
the layout you logged in with. For example, log in with Qwerty then
switch to Dvorak, the terminal shortcut (normally ctrl+alt+t), becomes
ctrl+alt+y since
Hello, as the bug title says, I'm not having problems with the switching, but
with the shortcuts once I've been changed the layout.
Examples:
- Ctrl+Alt+T works in Qwerty but not in Dvorak
- In LOWriter, Ctrl+S works in both layouts
- One of my custom shortcuts Super+Alt+L works in Qwerty but not
Onlycparra, what layout switching hotkey are you using? (click on the
keyboard layout icon in the top right bar --> "Text Entry Settings...")
I've been using Super+Space to switch to next layout and Alt+Super+Space
to the previous, and cannot currently reproduce the issue.

Sorry, the issue is back. It might be related to my use of Shift +
Space to switch between keyboard layouts. I will experiment with this
setting more and see if I can further isolate the problem's source.

I suggest this is bug with layout switch hotkey
When it set to Ctrl+Shift, all Ctrl+Shift+Key hotkeys doesnot work...
But all they works, when we do followed:
hold Ctrl, hold Alt, hold Shift, release Alt, press Key - hotkey Ctrl+Shift+Key
triggered now :)
