Ok. The machine running 14.04 + kernel 3.16.1, but without the br0 set up, has been running for more than 24 hours with medium to heavy network traffic (deluge-gtk running), and it is still working ok. I experience the same thing on the following setup: - Ubuntu 12.04 + br0 + kernels from kernel.ubuntu.com v3.14 and above My most recent, a few hours ago involves a machine running Ubuntu 14.04.1 + br0 + kernel 3.16.1 (from kernel.ubuntu.com).
