I had this problem in Ubuntu 14.10 untill I changed my 'password and
keys' to store unencrypted (blank password). Not the most secure
solution but is fine for me.

time, in order to try to find out which is exactly the application which
is breaking it. Also, if you could take a screenshot of the login

I don't use Evolution on my PC's but thunderbird (with add-ons to sync
lighting with google agendas and contacts)
And my thunderbird's still run ok despite of the bug.
I can confirm the bug is still there even after fresh install of ubuntu
14.04.
Even if Calendar + Contacts services are
Problem stays, even if calendar service is disabled.

I have this problem with gmail account too, since I have enabled the
double check process on Google account - where a code is sent by sms
to mobile phone to validate connection. Does it make sense ?

I don't think that is the issue, because i know i haven't enabled two
step verification for my accounts! I wonder what exactly the problem

I have this issue, have done for at least the last 2 releases of Ubuntu.
I have two factor enabled for Gmail but then plenty of other services
use the two factor without having to re-authenticate on a daily basis.
