With today's update/downgrade to Version 1.2.4 (enterprise 20070825.704286) kontact work as expected. Whether subject nor date and sender will be deleted and the enabled spamfilter (bogofilter) works fine. Only way to prevent this is to open up Kontact, let it download all of your mail, read your mail and then close Kontact. I just tested my spam filters by doing it automatically and the spam filters are not the issue. It looks like that after Kontact/KMail is up and running, any new mail that comes in gets stripped of everything before it hits the spam filters.
