look like pulseaudio bug since line out is plugged but front panel
headphone does not support Jack detection and
HDMI cannot be default sink when your HDMI jacks are unplugged

Hi, The trick is that I could reproduce exactly the same issue on my Dell Inspiron 1525 (without HDMI sound card) before I upgraded its Skype to version 4.3, as long as Skype was connected. Note that the bug only occurs when apps not compatible with PA 4.0 are started.
