Thanks. So this is a bug in usb-creator. Note that this is really just
cosmetical, because usb-creator is not meant to work with DVDs anyway as
far as I know.

Hi Martin,
Well, i have just shut off the pc, and put a blank dvd in the drive.
Same error.
When hovering over the icons it says Blank DVD-R Disc at both icons.
Btw. Brasero Disk Burner, works fine and

Thanks for reporting back. I blame this on bug 1281110 then, which is
the most likely cause for this.

Oh, you said that you have two icons; presumably the other one is from a
previously mounted DVD? Perhaps you ejected one using the eject button
on the drive? On 14.04 that would not automatically clean up the mounts
(bug 1281110). Does that also happen with the same DVD right after a
clean boot?
