These symptoms are the same to me if I run syndaemon, though after suspend/resume no problem. Can you please start a terminal and run: sudo apt-get install python-apport then apport-collect 1389434 ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = Medium **
