OK I'm saying this is fixed in the new kernel, have been running it for
some time and the suspend/resume behaviour was much more stable. When I
switched to the vivid kernel (due to overlayfs incompatibility), susres
was all over the place again.

I actually have yet to reproduce this issue. What does happen seems to
be a compiz issue instead. I'll make sure to follow up on this bug if it
resurfaces.
