I would suggest first trying to get back into Windows (assuming this
would be a dual-boot install), following the steps listed above, before
trying the installation again.
If on the other hand the error you are getting does not appear to happen
at the partitioning step; please add a screenshot of the error, crash,
or any other information you feel would be relevant to how things are
failing in the installer.
