I'm using ubuntu 15.04 r117 (from channel devel-proposed) on mako
(Nexus 4) today. (When I reported this bug, I used r98, but till now,
the indicator-switch doesn't work.)

Thank you for your bug report, I don't understand what you describe.
What version of Ubuntu Touch and device are you using? On a bq phone
with the rtm image the settings and indicator work as they should, you
can turn rotation on and off from any of those and the other one is
updating...
