This is strange, the new package/version indeed does not seem to fix the problem. I've previously tested 3.14.1 with the ubuntu patches and my own patch on top of it and that worked fine in Xubuntu. This bug was fixed in the package evince - 3.14.1-0ubuntu4 --- evince (3.14.1-0ubuntu4) vivid; urgency=medium * debian/patches/0001-Don-t-hide-the-titlebar-when-the-window-is-maximized.patch: Cherry-pick from upstream. Let the environment decide when to hide the titlebar. Fixes no titlebar in maximised evince under XFCE.
