[Bug 1424342] Re: CIFS remote shares freeze on resume after suspend
Try to negotiate higher version of CIFS protocol which deals better with timeouts, for me it helped to use vers=2.0 option but there should be also 2.1/3.0 etc. according to mount.cifs(8).
