Thanks for reporting this bug.
I *think* this is the same as bug #1420468.
To confirm this, could you please do the following?
1. Run 'sudo lxc-start -n unity8-lxc --o fail.log --l DEBUG'
2. Either attach fail.log to this bug or look in it and see if you find the
following lines:
