System hangs when switching to fullscreen mode and back in vmware a few times
Yes, vmware is using 1024x768 and my system default resolution is
1600x1200 (I use an external Dell 2007FP monitor, default resolution on
my laptop is 1280x800). I will try disabling Disable sync to vblank
option and let you know.

System hangs when switching to fullscreen mode and back in
That seem to fix it. I disabled Sync to vblank option and I could not
reproduce this issue anymore.

You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu
Bugs,
Is vmware using a different screen resolution? Does disabling Sync to
VBlank fix the problem? You can disable that by installing compizconfig-
settings-manager and then going to General Options, Display Settings
tab.
