Public bug reported: Expected: Upon wake up from suspend, login screen is shown after which, normal operation is done.
Behaviour: Upon wake up from suspend, the computer crashes/hangs. The 'Num Lock' and 'Caps Lock' don't work. I have to manually turn off power and turn it back on. Once that is done I get 'report bug' menu. I enter my password, then click report bug and then continue. I'm using Ubuntu 14.04.02 LTS, before which I had Ubuntu 15.04. I formatted hdd for 14.04 installation. lsb_release -rd: Description: Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS Release: 14.04 apt-cache policy xfce4-power-manager: xfce4-power-manager: Installed: (none) Candidate: 1.2.0-3ubuntu4.1 Version table: 1.2.0-3ubuntu4.1 0 500 http://in.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty-updates/universe amd64 Packages 1.2.0-3ubuntu4 0 500 http://in.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty/universe amd64 Packages ** Affects: xfce4-power-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: suspend -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1471692 Title: Computer hangs after suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-power-manager/+bug/1471692/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
