[Bug 148181] Re: gnome-volume-manager not controlling usb headset volume properly
This bug belongs to the gnome-volume-control, not to gnome-volume- manager. So the title of this Bug is wrong. But I have exactly the same problem. The gnome-volume-control on my system shows the same behavior. But it seems that the bug isn't in the gnome-media package, because this is a problem that seems to be exclusively with USB audio output. This let guess, that the bug is in the underlying code (gstreamer or alsa code). I got a similar issue on the plantronics .500 usb headset. When using gnome volume control it turns the volume on the left side down.
