i don't know if it solve all the problem you encountered, but i have same issue (bfmtv video ok but no sound, but on another url though). i have solve it with vlc 2.2.1 : Tools > Preferences > Input/Codecs > Demuxers > MPEG-TS: - Disable 'Trust in-stream PCR' - Check Seek based on percent not
