No it doesn't. The issue still exits on 3.18.6-1ubuntu1. On Unity, now it has black corner (visible with radiance). Version 3.18.5-1ubuntu2 from proposed fixes this issue partially. This also affects gnome-shell/adwaita, and even Unity, although its less obvious in the latter and just occurs as white corners where the headerbar corners are rounded.
