I follow Zesty packages for amd64, and I confirm that the undesired behavior is no more reproduced starting from 4.8.0-27 and onwards. I avoid testing mainline builds and I will test 4.9.* only after it is packaged for Zesty/amd64. 0. I just bought my X302LA earlier this month, so I did not test it with kernels older than 4.2.0-19. I just moved my older system to its HDD and continued testing Xenial. 1. Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? Was there a prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem?
