In my case the problem appears only with the plastique theme. Could you please run qtconfig-qt4, change the GUI style to something else (like Cleanlooks) and see if you still have this issue? I tried and yes it's working. I changed the style and I was able to nodify the size of the window. I tried to come back to plastick and it's working fine now. Perhaps it was a problem with the configuration in my home directory from feisty. So if you now *start* wengophone when the theme setting is Plastique you do not have the problem any longer? Are both these bugs related to the arch? I'm on a fresh install from an alt CD (ubuntustudio i386) and wengo has reproduced the big windows from the get go for me. Like https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/149491 I have a problem with the configuration window which always goes off the screen on a 1280x800 display and cannot be resized under metacity or compiz. Seems that the binary of version 2.1.1 from upstream does not have this issue. Note that they are shipping a private version of qt library. I confirm the same bug on WengoPhone with a huge horizontal window and a huge vertical window that cannot be resized.
