I got the same error... adept-manager seems really buggy in Kubuntu 7.10

as this bug doesn't seem to be attracting too much attention i'll close
it. i've worked around the bug (just FYI) by simply changing sources.lst
and then in konsole sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get dist-ugprade
and well lots of patience thereafter. on all other computers i've seen
upgrading to

checks keys and stuff - is that possible?
