I have the same issue. Latest Ubuntu SDK, 16.04, Nexus 4 stable. I'm also getting app armor denials with XmlHttpRequests. I'm trying to fetch a series of files from a remote server to set some variables. Still an issue with Qt Creator 3.5.1 running on 16.04. This could be fixed by moving to using a QtBearer backend based on connectivity-api.
