The current Ubuntu 64 Bit version 9.04 does not allow the normal user to edit
the menu:
Richtclick on the menu - Edit menu - no effect.
I had to set the menu permissions on console as root (via sudo).

This bug arises from upstream bugs in alacarte, not a small usability
bug that could be easily fixed. Also, most users do not edit their menu
entries, so this does not affect the average user. It is not a paper
cut.

Hello!
Sory for the late answer. I got flu and i didn't recieved e-mails.
I don't know about my gnome menu problem because I deleted all
troublemaking entries and created new with correct names.
