Originally I thought this was an obviously correct fix. Now I'm not so
sure.

Just hit this exact same issue with MySQL 8 and 19.10.
Patch also fixes the problem on these versions too.

The attachment "Patch for logrotate mysql-server config" seems to be a
patch. If it isn't, please remove the "patch" flag from the attachment,
remove the "patch" tag, and if you are a member of the ~ubuntu-
