Public bug reported: when install VM ubuntu 16.04 beta1 image in VMware ESXi, Hot add of a disk attached to LSI Logic SAS is not getting detected
Steps to reproduce: 1.Install ubuntu 16.04 beta1 with BUS logic SAS as boot controller in VMware ESXi 6.0GA. 2.Power on the VM 3.Hot add a hard disk to LSI SAS controller 4 after rescan scsi bus, the ubuntu 16.04 does not detect the disk the developer from VMware company investigate it and find it's a kernel issue.
