kvm-ipxe is not available in 15.10, which means you are installing it from some place else. The error message indicates that the package ipxe- qemu has already laid down files that kvm-ipxe is conflicting with. The solution is to use ipxe-qemu. Since it seems likely to me that this is a local configuration problem, rather than a bug in Ubuntu, I'm marking this bug as 'Incomplete'. If indeed this is a local configuration problem, you can find pointers to get help for this sort of problem here: http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community Or if you believe that this is really a bug, then you may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem, explain why you believe this is a bug in Ubuntu rather than a problem specific to your system, and then change the bug status back to New. ** Changed in: ipxe (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1569108 Title: package kvm-ipxe (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: trying to overwrite '/usr/share/qemu/pxe-rtl8139.rom', which is also in package ipxe-qemu 1.0.0+git-20141004.86285d1-1ubuntu3 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ipxe/+bug/1569108/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
