I was able to restore wireless networking by removing and re-loading the modules as follows: sudo rmmod brcmfmac sudo rmmod brcmutil sudo rmmod cfg80211 sudo modprobe brcmfmac This is only a temporary fix, needs to be repeated after reboot. Has worked 2 for 2 attempts for me so far... --

I've tried kernel 4.6rc3 to no avail (same machine, Dell XPS 13 9350). The thing has the broadcom 4350 card. I'm running a 4.4 lowlatency kernel on this machine, which is not upgraded automatically or anything, so the problem can IMHO not come from a kernel change, but it must be something

I can confirm this bug, same machine and after an update a day or two ago I lost wifi and now only have "automatic ethernet" (not in english) in the dropdown where we select what network we want to connect to. The option to turn off wireless is also gone. ifconfig shows lo and wlp58s0. -- You
