@joakimkoed Don't try install like that. Instead, add proposed
repository and run "sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install unity".

Accepted unity into xenial-proposed. The package will build now and be
available at
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/7.4.0+16.04.20160526.1-0ubuntu1
in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
Please help us by testing this new package.

Just checked with cinnamon 3.0 and that works just fine. So it's 100% a
unity/compiz issue.
