I'm not able to reproduce the problem with openoffice.org
1:2.3.0-1ubuntu5 (default configuration with Gutsy), which packages need
to be installed? I only get the ubuntu splash screen and no warnings in
the command line, thanks.

the Ubuntu splash screen dont work, the OO guys change the image format
/usr/lib/openoffice/program/openintro_ubuntu.bmp: Just 24 bpp bitmaps
are supported.
Please fix this in the next update!
