Public bug reported:

Spatialite-gui version 2.0.0, is available from the DebianGIS
repositories. The application works as expected in Ubuntu and Xubuntu
16.04 (in Virtualbox VM's). However in Lubuntu 16.04, whenever trying to
resize the window, the system becomes unresponsive and locks up. A hard
reset is required to reboot the VM.

It is possible to minimize, then restore the Spatialite-gui window
without problem, but every attempt to maximize or resize (by dragging
corners) causes the lockup.

The developer of Spatialte suggests: "cause should be possibly related
to a buggish porting of wxGTK3"

This issue is specific to Lubuntu: the same application on Debian,
Fedora, and other versions of Ubuntu 16.04 do not have the problem.
