Just wanted to provide an update. The 4.4 based Xenial kernel is
requiring several other commits as prereqs to get a kernel to build with
these 4 new patches. I'll continue to identify all of the prereq
commits that are needed and post a test kernel.

These commits have all landed in Yakkety, so it looks like they are only
now needed in Xenial.
