Accepted php7.0 into xenial-proposed. The package will build now and be
available at
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/php7.0/7.0.8-0ubuntu0.16.04.1 in a
few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package.  See
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to
enable and use -proposed.  Your feedback will aid us getting this update
out to other Ubuntu users.

Note also that we have a MRE filed for php7.0 (bug 1569609). I'm going
to work that a bit further today, and if we are able to update php7.0,
you'll get the fix via that bug in -updates.

Hi Pavel,

Thank you for reporting this bug. It seems like you installed zabbix
from source, but based upon
https://www.zabbix.com/documentation/3.0/manual/installation/requirements
PHP7 isn't actually supported (cf. Bug 1571534). I'm still working
through that bug now.

Additionally, backporting the fix you found (https://github.com/php/php-
src/commit/2e6d70787c93413daecbea529bf0f74fa901d1db is the actual
commit) is non-trivial. It will take me some time to figure out how to
do it.
